Drinking Affects Mother-Child Bonding
The pregnant women, who drink even a little, weaken their bond with their children. This fact is proved in a recent research conducted by PhD student Eilidh Duncan at Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University.
Alcohol drinking during pregnancy is found to have many negative effects. Here are few.
- The mothers who drink during pregnancy take longer time to recover from alcohol’s effects after the child birth.
- Drinking during pregnancy badly affects the mother-child relationship. The mothers are not confident about the bonding with their child.
- Even if a mother drinks once in a month it is found to have an effect on mother-child bonding.
- The more a woman drinks, the longer she has to stay in hospital to recover from the effects.
So, mothers… please keep yourself away from alcohol to stay closer to your child.
