Outdoor Sports Clothing
Outdoor sports apparel should combine comfort and functionality. The criteria of selection for the same reason include minimum weight and weather adaptability. Different outdoor sports have different choices when it comes to apparel selection.
Kayaking Apparel
Kayaking clothing should be quick drying and loose since freedom of moving hands and possibility of getting wet should be taken into account. Loose tops and jackets are preferred over tight ones. Usually synthetic materials are preferred since they dry quickly. Cotton should be avoided in all cases since it remains wet and cause hypothermia. Dry suits are also another practical option.
Fishing Apparel
Clothing used for fishing should offer protection from sunlight as well as water. Neck wraps, bank vests, and bug caps are ideal. Brimmed hats, fingerless gloves and insulated boots can be chosen as accessories. The fabric should always be light weight and quick drying. Jackets made of synthetic material are ideal since they are breathable and light weight.
Snow Skiing Apparel
When selecting snow skiing clothes the first emphasis should be on functionality. Snow suits that provide warmth are ideal for skiing. Many people prefer to dress in layers to keep the body warm. Snow skiing suits are the last layer often. Turtle necks, fleece vest or shirt can be made part of the layering. Nylon pants can be preferred over cotton material since they are light weight, dry quickly and repel moisture. The final layer is snow suits which repel the wet snow and are light weight. Most of the snow suits are made from nylon. Gloves, snow guards and goggles complete the outfit.
Hunting Apparel
Camouflage shirts, sweat shirts and pants can be incorporated in the hunting apparel. A pair of fleece or wool coats can be taken in cold climates. Fingerless gloves and hats with ear flaps complete the list. In milder climates jeans and cotton pants are fine. Insulated boots are ideal for hunting.
Polo Apparel
Exposure to sun light determines the selection of clothes here. Light weight jackets with collars along with a polo shirt make a perfect choice. They leave room for easy movements and also offer ventilation. Bright colors can add a touch of fashion and freshness.
Shooting Events
A basic criterion of selecting apparel for shooting is comfort. Medium weight jackets and Ptarmigan are ideal. T- Shirts with light weight jackets are also fine. The jackets with pockets and openings to carry phone or shooting equipment will be a practical choice. Jackets also offer protection from injuries and bruises. Tweed or corduroy can be opted for pants.
Hiking Apparel
Hiking should take into consideration climatic conditions. Synthetic fabric is more preferred since they have moisture wicking features. In cold climates a mid weight outer shirt can be worn. In addition, zippered fleece jackets can be worn. Sweaters combined with rain coats or wind breakers are equally good at providing warmth. In warm weathers light weighted, breathing jackets made of synthetic fibers can be selected. Water proof, extreme cold and wet weather jackets can be used with trousers in rainy conditions. Nylon pants are ideal since they don’t hold moisture. Warm gloves, hats and a bandanna complete the picture.
